First time visiting for dinner. Monday 8/19/24 Party of 3 Awesome spot with a casual atmosphere. Service was great and the food was delicious! She Crab Soup Blackened Mahi Mahi Our Server Lilly was amazing, super outgoing, friendly and knowledgeable! She suggested the Mahi Mahi. It is served over a bed of rice with asparagus and has a light cover of mango salsa - truly amazing! We will be back!

First timers, three of us came for dinner to Carolina crab because we were able to get reservations the day before at a reasonable time. Very pleasantly surprised. We were on the covered patio, which was a perfect setting. Service by.Cord was friendly and efficient. The menu is not extensive nor particularly expensive. My husband had the shrimp Alfredo pasta and loved it. It was the perfect serving size. Our friend had the spinach salad with the mahi-mahi and thought it was great. I enjoyed the fish tacos. We shared an order of hush puppies, which were pretty typical. They did not come with the cinnamon butter as advertised, instead were served with packets of apple butter, which was not quite what we were expecting, but what the heck they were hush puppies. Will definitely try again.

This was a really cool place that I enjoyed with my family. The place is in a really cool setup with some outdoor seating on a marina and also some indoor as well. We really lucked out on sitting inside because they had LOUD live music on the outdoor area (I hate sounding like a Karen here LOL, but I have sensory issues in places like this when there is a lot of noise going on, so I thought I'd point this out to others who also might have or be with people that also have this). Regardless, if it wasn't for that I would have really liked sitting outside. But it worked out well for this time. We came with a decent size group so I got to try a couple different apps. I had some of the calamari, fried okra, and a crab queso that was on specially. I really enjoyed all of these. The calamari particularly was really crisp and seemed fresh. For dinner I had a rough dilemma. I love fried seafood but was getting burnt out on it, so I opted to go for the creole salmon. It was really tasty and honestly better than I expected. They served it with this jambalaya style rice that had bits of smoked sausage. The salmon had bits of this zesty sauce that was in it and some spinach. It was a really good combination and I was glad with my choice. The service was really good, I was pretty impressed with our waitress and considering especially how busy it was tonight. I'm glad we got to come here and I would definitely like to come back in the future!

This place is great for people who aren't a fan of seafood. They had many options!!! I tried the Carolina chicken club and it was amazing. The bun was very soft and the sandwich had some great toppings including lettuce, tomato, avocado, bacon, and cheese. They also had good Mac and cheese it wasn't very cheesy but that is how I like it. The service was very fast and the server was great even with our large party of 8 it was a great experience.

I can't say enough about how great this place is! It has a fun and scenic venue, with indoor/outdoor and bar seating. The service was warm, friendly and attentive. I had to try several items from the menu and I'm so glad I did; everything was extremely delicious. The hush puppies were some of the best on the island served with apple butter yum.

My son and I rode our bikes 3.5 miles to the Carolina Crab Company location on Hilton Head. The ride was both good for us and well worth it. We arrived after the lunch crowd, and the manager was very welcoming and helpful. I ordered the fried platter with a side of hush puppies with apple butter, and my son ordered the shrimp po-boy sandwich with one Carolina crab cake. The crab cake was out of this world good, and I've had plenty of Maryland crab cakes for comparison. The shrimp po-boy was open faced. it was good, but there could have been more lettuce for balanced flavor. My fried platter was very good as well, although the oysters were mushy, which is not unexpected as that's the way they are presented at most restaurants. Apparently, oysters are not made to be fried. The Carolina Crab Company's Hilton Head location is very good, and I suspect they have quite the nighttime crowd as the open air environment is perfect for this holiday beach location.
